The Spongebob Squarepants Movie!

Yes that is right, I have already seen this fabulous movie. How was this possible you may ask, well luckily my work gets these sneak peek passes to see movies before they are out, and we got ones for Spongebob- score! Ok, onto the movie. I really thought they did a great job with the movie. They didn't goof up any of the characters or make the story bizzar, it was almost like watching a long episode- a good episode. :) The story was really great- Mr. Krabs is opening a Krusty Krab 2 and Spongebob thinks he will be named the new manager...but things don't work out that way. In the meantime, Plankton discovers Plan Z to take the krabby patty secret formula, which is to steal King Neptues crown and frame Mr. Krabs as the one who stole it. Thus begins Spongebob and Patricks' adventure to get the crown back to save Mr. Krabs from King Neptunes wrath. This movie had some really great laughs, the songs are hillarious- I highly recommend buying the soundtrack- overall a movie worth seeing. I'll be seeing it again this weekend- hope to see you there!

An Incredible Movie!

I went to see The Incedibles today with Greg. I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it as much as Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo- for me those are two hard movies to top. But the Incredibles impressed me and I really liked it...though Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo are still my favies. The Incredibles had a good storyline, some really funny scenes but also some very realistic scenes of the family interacting. Greg kept saying throughout the movie- "That's from James Bond!" The volcano hide-out, rockets, and music all had traces of Bond. But it worked. Overall I thought this was a really good movie, definitly worth seeing. Though don't be like us and leave for a 1:20pm movie at 1:10pm- we still got okay seats but I HATE rushing, plus we missed ALL the previews, and I heard there was one for Cars, also a new Pixar/Disney flick...so I'll just have to go back to see the previews. :)

Team America Soundtrack

So i said I would talk about the amazing soundtrack from the move Team America, and here it is. these songs are just so fricken hillarious that you will want to go out and buy the soundtrack. I mean, how can you not like these songs- "America-F*ck Yeah!", "I'm so ronery" , and "freedom isn't free." they just add to the comical tone of the movie, and are themselves making fun of people and stuff. I haven't bought mine yet, though I planned to yesterday when it came out, along with the new Spongebob DVD, but i forgot and have been kinda stingy lately when it comes to buying things that may not be 100% necessary...but I will, and so should you! You don't even have to see the movie, just buy the soundtrack and you will enjoy it just as much as watching the movie. :)
